The Crystal Forest is a family owned and operated business.

People often ask me how I got started in making gem trees. First my husbands hobby is rock collecting and for many years he was bringing home extras and these extras started piling up for years. So I started using them for my gem trees and one thing lead to another and now the plies are much smaller.
I also wanted to stay home and be with my kids as they grow up and be there when they needed me. In this day in time that is hard but making and selling my gemtrees lets me do just that.

I first started making gem trees just for gifts and enjoyed it so much that I started selling them at craft shows then later opened this web shop. This allowed me to work at home and still be with my kids. This also makes my husband very happy since he can now go digging rocks to his hearts content without me giving him grief for all the extras he brings home.

The Crystal Forest has grown a lot sense I started this hobby 15 years ago's. Now you will find we have expand to include not only gem trees but also gem tree supplies and my husband's collection of rocks and minerals.
